Application:

Nexans XLPE-SHF1 AL 0.6/1 kV cables have fire-retardant characteristics combined with low emissions of smoke and toxic gases - the greatest risks in a fire. They are particularly suitable for buildings such as Data Centers. 

Construction:

  1. Conductor: Formed from compacted round aluminum wires, class 2, according to IEC 60228.
  2. InsulationComposed of thermosetting Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) for operating temperature of 90 ° C conductor.
  3. Outer Sheath: Non-halogenated thermoplastic compound, type ST8 (SHF1), UV resistant, black color.

Identification:

Outer sheath color: Black, Green or light Blue.

Note: Other colors can be evaluated on request.

 

Operating regime:

The thermal limits under operating conditions:

Permanent regime: 90ºC
Overload regime: 130ºC
Short-circuit regime: 250ºC
