Class 2 compact round stranded aluminium conductor, insulated in high-quality XLPE and protected by an ST8 (SHF1) jacket, this cable is designed to withstand the most demanding conditions. With a thermal capacity of up to 90°C and a voltage of 0.6/1 kV, it is perfectly suited to a Data Centers and wide range of industrial and construction applications. Application:
Nexans XLPE-SHF1 AL 0.6/1 kV cables have fire-retardant characteristics combined with low emissions of smoke and toxic gases - the greatest risks in a fire. They are particularly suitable for buildings such as Data Centers.
Construction:
- Conductor: Formed from compacted round aluminum wires, class 2, according to IEC 60228.
- Insulation: Composed of thermosetting Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) for operating temperature of 90 ° C conductor.
- Outer Sheath: Non-halogenated thermoplastic compound, type ST8 (SHF1), UV resistant, black color.
